Jolina Carl

Jolina Carl is one of the most successful newcomers to country music in Germany. Jolina has played music professionally ever since the mid-1990s but was discovered only in 2008 by producer Iris Paech at the International Country Music Messe in Nuremberg. Before she made ​​the music her main job, she worked, after graduating from high school, in the profession of industrial sales. In addition, she trained as a singing teacher. Married and living near Cologne she has two children. 

The debut album "Better now than at any time" won the first Guard Nashville musicians. Included on the album are the pedal steel guitar of Mike Johnson, fiddler Jenee Fleeno plus Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire, Bill Anderson, Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain and several others. After the release of "Better now than at any time" in November 2009, Jolina Carl ended up in the same month with the eponymous single at No. 2 in the German airplay country charts. The single was also the most successful song in January 2010 in the country music charts. Jolina Carl's Christmas single "Santa Claus Will Bring You Home To Me" was released in November 2009 on the CDX-sampler of the Country Music Association (CMA) in Nashville and became equally in the U.S. and in Europe a successful Christmas-country radio hit.
